Both give you the same beautiful scents, but they work quite differently, and the right choice often comes down to your space, your routine, and how you like to fragrance your home.

Keep in mind: you’ll need to be around to keep an eye on it while it’s burning, and it does require a lighter or matches on hand.

Wax melts give you the same fragrance without an open flame, using a wax warmer instead. Pop a piece onto the dish, and the warmer’s gentle heat releases the scent gradually.

Using the same scent in both formats (many of ours, like Amalfi Coast or Caledonian Breeze, come in both) also means you can layer the same fragrance throughout the day without it ever feeling repetitive.
